What Is An Aromatherapy Vape Pen?
An aromatherapy vape pen is a handheld, nicotine-free diffuser pen that you choose for its scent and flavor. Instead of filling a room the way a tabletop diffuser does, it gives you a personal, portable aroma you can take anywhere.
For most people the appeal is the ritual: a short pause, a slow breath and a familiar scent at the end of a long day or between meetings. HealthVape's aromatherapy pens pair that ritual with herbal ingredients and a published ingredient list.
Aromatherapy Vape Pen Vs. Essential Oil Diffuser
The word aromatherapy is closely linked with essential oils, so it is worth being clear about what our pens are and are not.
Oil-Free Base
Our formulas use an organic, oil-free carrier base with plant extracts and flavors. They are not essential oil vapes.
Aroma From The Flavor Blend
The scent comes from the flavor blend itself: peppermint and cassia flavors in one formula, lychee flavor in the other, alongside herbal ingredients such as chamomile and passionflower.
Personal, Not Room-Filling
A room diffuser scents the whole space for everyone in it. An aromatherapy vape pen is personal and discreet, which makes it easy to carry in a pocket or bag.
Our Aroma Profiles
The collection comes in two aroma profiles, each available as a disposable pen or as pods for the rechargeable kit.
Peppermint & Cassia (SOOTHE)
Cool, refreshing peppermint meets the warm, spicy note of cassia bark. SOOTHE is our melatonin-infused blend, designed for an evening wind-down routine. Shop it as Peppermint Melatonin Pens or Peppermint Melatonin Pods.
Lychee (CHILL)
Sweet, juicy lychee leads an herbal blend of chamomile, passionflower, valerian root and L-theanine. CHILL is made for a quiet break at any time of day. Shop it as Lychee Chamomile Pens or Lychee Chamomile Pods.
What's In The Blends
Both aroma profiles share a short list of herbal ingredients. The notes below are general background on each ingredient, not claims about what our pens do.
Chamomile
Chamomile is a daisy-like flower that has been used in teas and herbal preparations for centuries. It has a soft, sweet, apple-like aroma.
Passionflower
Passionflower is a climbing vine native to the Americas, traditionally used in herbal preparations. It appears in both of our aromatherapy blends as a listed ingredient.
Valerian Root
Valerian is a flowering plant whose root has a long history in European herbal traditions. It is known for its strong, earthy aroma.
L-Theanine
L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in green tea leaves. It is a listed ingredient in both blends.
Melatonin
Melatonin is a hormone the body produces naturally that plays a role in the sleep-wake cycle.
Pens Or Pods?
Both aroma profiles come in two formats, so you can choose based on how you like to use them.
Disposable Pens
Ready to use straight out of the box, with no charging or refilling. A good choice if you want to grab one and go, or try a scent before committing.
Pods For The HV0 Kit
Each pod pack holds two sealed 2 ml pods, approximately 1,600 inhalations per pack. Pods need the HV0 rechargeable kit, which suits regular use.
Building An Aroma Ritual
An aromatherapy vape pen works best as part of a routine you already have. Some people reach for peppermint and cassia while they read before bed; others keep lychee on hand for an afternoon break.
Take a slow, gentle inhale, pause and exhale, and use it within the product's recommended guidelines. If you prefer to browse by formula rather than scent, see our herbal vapes and relaxing formulas. Our product safety page covers how every formula is tested.
